I wonder just how many bikes there are in Beijing. How many are sold each year? How many are electric bikes too?
I love aerial photography (even on an iPhone). It is such a great feeling flying into a new city... What's in store for us in Hong Kong?
If you're currently cycling in Sydney, are 18 years and over, and interested in participating in more in-depth cycling research, head to http://tinyurl.com/cyclingpractice to register your interest through a short 2 minute questionnaire. Counting down the days before IGC 11 (International Graduate Conference), held at Tsinghua University, Beijing on July 6 & 7, 2015.
The IGC is organized each year by five collaborating universities - Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), Communication University of China - CUC (China), Macquarie University (Australia), Tsinghua University (China) and University of Paris III Sorbonne (France). This year the conference theme is Research Methods, which fits in perfectly with PhD progress. I am looking forward to jumping on a plane and discussing research methods with post graduate students from around the world in three weeks time and jumping on a bike to explore Beijing! |
